Cathy Landry, owner of AlphaBravo LLC, strongly believes in human spirit and how employees can strengthen a business from within. She has seen the valuable performance results of effective training and incorporating employee recognition and appreciation into the workplace.
Ms. Landry has over 20 years of successful executive management experience in aviation maintenance training. Employed with Northrop Rice USA Inc., she was responsible for the set-up and FAA certification of six domestic Part 147 aviation maintenance training schools (Rice Aviation).
Ms. Landry held the position of initial Project Manager overseeing the curriculum development, equipment acquisition, instructor training and program development for a 1000 student training program developed for the Government of Malaysia. Over a three year period, Cathy coordinated the development of over 4000 hours of curriculum in aviation maintenance, manufacturing, avionics, composites and technical management. Responsibilities also involved the acquisition and shipping of equipment from hand tools to aircraft, including a B727.
As President of Northrop Rice USA Inc., Ms. Landry had direct oversight of the operations including the development of the on-line learning center, www.Aerolearn.com and the degree-granting institute, Northrop Rice Aviation Institute of Technology.
Over the last several years, Ms. Landry has focused on supporting repair station training and development and has written numerous training manuals, courses and structured OJT training processes.
She currently provides Project Development services to Northrop Rice USA and is a designated trainer in Human Factors and Safety Management Systems for Airworthiness Standards Institute.
Ms. Landry holds a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Southwest Texas State University. Her background includes experience as a probation officer and small business owner in the employee motivation and incentive industry.
